Corporate Image Matters is run by Mike Swinson, an experienced multi faceted journalist. His work has been recognised with the industry’s highest award, a Walkley, for ‘Best Coverage of a Current Event,’ and at the Berlin Film Festival for a story produced and filmed on Prime Seal Island in Bass Strait for the ABC.

Mike  spent 28 years with the ABC, working firstly for the specialist Rural Department, preparing and presenting a diverse range of radio and television programs including the Country Hour, National Farm Report, Televsion weather and gardening as well as contributions to Countrywide and Landline.

He also spent time working in national radio current affairs with AM and Pm, the ABC’s flagship radio current affairs productions. He has worked in television as a reporter and producer on ‘Australian Story’ and A Big Country’, as Chief of Staff of the Hobart Newsroom, as the Senior Reporter and Presenter of the Tasmanian ‘Seven Thirty Report.’

He now runs his own successful multi-media business, specialising in Corporate Risk Management, Media Training and Multimedia Productions, including a wide range of video based resources for clients across Australia. He is still an active member of the journalism community as a regular contributor to a number of publications.
